    tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

    red onion, sliced
  • 1/2
    teaspoon turmeric
  • 330 g
    STRIPZEES
  • 2
    teaspoons black mustard seeds
  • 1/2
    teaspoon curry powder
  • to taste
    salt and black pepper

preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the black mustard seeds, and cook until they start to pop. Immediately add the sliced red onion, salt, black pepper, turmeric, and curry powder. Cook for a minute and add the Stripzees to the pan. They will be ready when nicely golden. If they become too dry, add a bit of water. Serve them as a main dish accompanied by cooked vegetables.
